Building Better Communities, One Place at a Time

  • For over 40 years, Burrard has been a family-driven company focused on creating meaningful environments that enhance the quality of life. From residential and commercial developments to hospitality and leisure projects, Burrard’s diverse portfolio is guided by a deep commitment to community, wellness, and ecological stewardship. This commitment is reflected in their approach—prudent opportunism, thoughtful design, and a holistic focus on wellness. As stewards of both urban and natural environments, Burrard believes in fostering vibrant spaces that serve generations to come, blending opportunity with responsibility.

Reimagining the Role of the Developer

  • The concept of what a developer brings to a community often needs to be fully understood. It goes beyond constructing buildings; it’s about creating spaces that foster connection, wellbeing, and sustainability. For Burrard, the challenge was to redefine its brand narrative in a way that resonates on a deeper, more intuitive level with the communities they serve. The goal was to articulate their holistic approach to development—one that emphasizes not just the physical structures but also the lasting positive impact on people, culture, and the environment.

A Brand Identity Rooted in Purpose and Place

  • Our task was to craft a brand identity for Burrard that authentically reflects their values and vision. We positioned Burrard around a central belief: “We Believe in Better Communities for All.” This narrative became the cornerstone of their brand, reinforcing Burrard’s dedication to creating spaces that are not only functional but also enriching and inclusive. We developed the brand’s core values and quality of life pillars, which highlight their commitment to wellness, ecological mindfulness, and quality of place.

    Visually, we created a brand identity that embodies organic thoughtfulness. A refreshed logo, a harmonious color palette, and bespoke illustrations were designed to convey a sense of balance and intention. Textures and natural elements were integrated into the visual language to reflect the company’s deep connection to the environments they shape. The result is a brand that feels both timeless and forward-thinking, one that speaks to Burrard’s role as a conscientious developer committed to the betterment of communities.
